Refined sugars including high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS). When eaten these foods cause a spike in insulin levels in the blood which can feed the growth of cancer cells.

To support your body to prevent cancer the following:

Eating Brazil nuts as they contain selenium which helps in the repair of damaged DNA and kill cancer cells

Adding garlic to your meals. The sulphur in garlic boosts the immune system’s response to cancer and even reduces tumour growth.

Loading up your plate with broccoli, steamed or raw, not microwaved as this is another great food to support the immune system.

Buying organic. Organic food is grown without the use of toxic chemicals like herbicides and pesticides. These toxins have been shown to cause cell damage that could lead to cancer formation. Please note that the label ‘All Natural’ does not mean organic, so read food labels carefully.
