Checking your phone every few minutes?

Escape this social media trap. It’s an addiction you can quit!

Social media is a great way of keeping connected, seeing each other’s picture, sharing jokes, checking in on each other and just keeping up with what’s going on. And here is the big BUT, too much of a good thing can become a bad thing. There is a great concern that people are getting hooked on social media and preferring it to real live social interactions. There is a cost to this as human beings need face to face social interaction to be truly happy and joyful.

If you recognise this behaviour in yourself, someone you love, and especially any children, now really is the time to address it.

Free help is available to all Phela Wellness members, just call 0800 22 93 55.
The counsellor will deal with your call in the strictest confidence.
